EPDM Waterproofing System
EPDM rubber membrane with high elongation.
System overview
EPDM (ethylene propylene diene monomer) is a cured synthetic rubber membrane with high elongation and good low-temperature flexibility, tolerating substrate movement and thermal cycling. Large sheet formats reduce the number of field seams.
Main advantages
High elasticity
High elongation accommodates substrate movement.
Low-temperature flexibility
Remains flexible in cold conditions.
Large sheets
Fewer field seams across large areas.
Ozone and UV resistance
Stable weathering behaviour.
Applications
- Roofs in wide temperature-swing climates
- Structures subject to substrate movement
- Long-span roofs
- Projects seeking minimal field seams
