Insulation sits below or above the waterproofing layer, influencing both building energy performance and the thermal and load conditions the membrane experiences. PORMA supplies PIR, rock wool and XPS, selected on thermal, fire and loading criteria and supplied together with membranes and fasteners.

PIR Insulation Board
Low thermal conductivity allows a thinner build-up for a given performance, suiting projects with height constraints.
Rock Wool Insulation Board
Non-combustible mineral wool, for roof assemblies with higher fire requirements.
XPS Insulation Board
Good compressive strength and low water absorption, suiting inverted and trafficable roofs.
